OUR PROFILE

The Mumbai based owner company started in 2013 as J Shekhar Surveyors & Loss Assessors after obtaining License from Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority ( IRDA) of India for Marine Hull, Marine Cargo & Engineering category. Mr Jyoti Shekhar who is a Marine Engineer sailed as Chief Engineer in various type of Ship and followed by working as Engineer Superintendent in various Shipping Companies ashore. Presently working as Independent Surveyor with a group of staff. The business includes to act as third party Inspector and Independent Surveyor.

Mr Jyoti Shekhar has vast Experience of 40 years in Shipping Industry. He is member of Institute of Engineers India and Fellow member of Institute of Marine Engineers. Also has status of Chartered Engineer.

Our services

01. Condition Valuation Survey
Condition Valuation Survey is carried out for various underwriters to assess the condition of Ship and determine the present Market value of Vessel.
02. Pre Purchase Condition Survey

A thorough Inspection is carried out on behalf of buyer. All Engine Room Machineries, Deck Machineries, Wheelhouse Equipments , Cargo Spaces , Double Bottom Tanks, LSA/FFA Items etc are inspected and present market value is forwarded to buyer.

03. Suitability Survey for Charterers

We Survey on behalf of Charterer for suitability of Vessel after thorough inspection and Testing of all Machineries.

04. Survey for P&I Club

Condition Survey of Vessel is carried for P&I Club.

05. Draft Survey

We carry out Draft Survey for Bulk Carriers.

06. On Hire/Off Hire Survey

We check the condition of Vessel and measure the Fuel/FW ROB at the time of On Hire/Off Hire Survey.

07. Damage Survey

Damage Survey for Underwriters are carried out.
